We’ve been in love since June 25, 1998. He proposed to me on June 25, 2006 and we were married on April 12, 2008. He is my absolute number one. He is my best friend and the greatest love. His smile tickles my heart and I still get butterflies in my stomach when he comes home every evening from work. We’re both Aries and all of the astrological-nonsense out there tells me we could never be together. Did I mention that we love to prove people wrong?
We purchased a home in Edmond, Oklahoma on May 24, 2007. It was the scariest thing ever but we both survived it! It’s a three bedroom house that we somehow have completely filled to the brim.
We have two canine children that we just love so much. My baby girl is a 4 year old Australian Shepherd and Blue Heeler mix that we’ve had since she was 10 weeks old, she goes by Emma or Baby Girl and there is no other dog on the planet quite like this girl. Our baby boy is a soon-to-be 3 year old Great Dane that we’ve had since he was 5 weeks old. He is the sweetest and most gentlest dog you’ll ever meet. He loves to cuddle and start self-proclaimed fart-a-thons on a whim.
UPDATE!
Gene and I had a positive home pregnancy test on the afternoon of Saturday August 30th. On Tuesday, September 2nd we saw my general physician and the pregnancy was confirmed! We have an estimated due date for May 11, 2009. We’re going to be a Mommy & Daddy!! Our excitement is beyond words :)

Zoey Elise was born at 9:20 AM on April 14, 2009, 4 weeks early. She was 5lbs 5oz and 18 1/2 inches long. Her apgars were 8 and 9. We love our precious baby girl and we are both having the time of our lives!
