That is very strange about the glucose screening.  It is not typically done until much later in the pregnancy, after the 25th week, because GD rarely has developed before then.  Taking it now would be almost useless, unless your doctor has a reason to believe you are diabetic?
Don&#039;t worry too much about the weight.  I have several friends online who did lose weight over the course of their pregnancy because they ate healthier and were overweight to begin with.  As long as you are eating good food and good portions, your body will do what it is supposed to do.  :)  *hugs*</description>
