Future Seamstress

I got a Singer Esteem sewing machine for Christmas!! I am extremely intimidated yet so excited to get some projects underway. I’ve never even touched a sewing machine in my LIFE, seriously. So I’ll probably be heading out to a book store this week to grab some sewing books. Before I go, any recommendations?

    Just make sure you keep the tension on the machine at the right level. I’ve had thread pop before.

    Enjoy your new sewing machine! I’ve had one for 15 years and all I ever make on mine is curtains, tablecloths and pillows. LOL
