That’s life

Laying in bed, unable to move due to horrendous sciatica pain. Just watched 75% of Home Alone and now I am watching National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. Gene is in the kitchen making me a turkey burger with corn on the cob. Pups are at the foot of the bed sleeping. I say foot of the bed but Astro is actually in the MIDDLE of the bed, taking up 60% of it. Silly, big boy.

Even though I was a crying mess earlier, sobbing about why this is happening to me on my 4 day Christmas weekend. Why?! WHY!!! Ugh.  Anyway where was I? Oh yeah.. Even though I was a huge mess earlier I have still found the “spirit” and am feeling a little better emotionally. Physically, still a mess.

    Oh man, that really sucks. I vote that you should stay in bed and have Gene continue to take such good care of you. Hope you’re feeling better soon so that you can enjoy the rest of your time off!

    You too? This morning I’m pain free, yesterday after packing gifts I was in agony and hit the codene since advil just didn’t cut it. This my 3rd week of flare up. Here’s wishing both of us are pain free for Christmas day.
    I just googled ‘yoga and sciatica’ and I’m going to try some of the moves since yoga has helped in the passed with a pinched nerve I had.
