I am beyond exhausted, actually. But that’s okay, I am going to hit the sack here soon. All I need to do is put the last of laundry into the dryer and then get my shower and I’ll be set for bed. Oh and slip into the warmest jammies I have and take a nyquil.

I think I’ve been fighting this stupid cold for a good week now. It’s been on and off. I feel okay some days, and somedays I feel like crap. There are actually days where I feel good and like crap, all within’ the same 24 hour period. Sometimes even in just a 12 hour period. It’s ridiculous! I was chalking it up to allergies and sinuses but I think it may just be a really low-grade cold. I wish it would go away because my nose is pretty much raw from having to wipe it so much. You’d think someone would eventually run out of snot, you know? I mean, how in the world am I creating this endless supply of the stuff? It has to end, right? Please?

Today I have been cleaning and preparing for our New Year’s Eve Party. We’re going to play Wii games and Karaoke and have a good ol’ time! I’m really exhausted.. Mostly because I am excited to just be around friends and have a good time. The Mysterious Red M will be there and wherever she goes, laughter and good times follow. I hope everyone has a very happy and safe New Year’s Eve. If you drink, please get a designated driver or just crash wherever you are! It really isn’t worth the risk to be driving around.

Margarita bucket is in the freezer and you know what that means, right??? GOOD TIMES AHEAD!

How to remove Super Glue from skin.

It’s crazy, I know. My hands are burning and there are small patches of super glue stuck to random parts of both of my hands. It’s miserable! not only that, but it is annoying that everytime I bend a finger or my skin wrinkles, it feels crinkly and weird. Annoying! I used fingernail polish remove like it said to, but I think I might have the acetone-free fingernail polish remover, which defeats the purpose. Oh but I did get some on a cut on one of my fingers and… Ow?

Got a few things done this evening:

• Christmas decorations put away… Check!
• Dishes Done… Check!
• Ate Dinner… Check!
• Super Gluse all over hands… Check!
• Fingernail Polish Remover in an open wound… Check!
• Yelled at atleast one dog… Check!
• Poked a sexy asian boy… Check!
  

Created a new category on my blog. It’s WTPM? Which stands for “What The Phantom Menace?” which is a Family Guy reference, which is in turn a Star Wars reference. All my FamGuy fans out there know what’s up, yo :]

I got a Singer Esteem sewing machine for Christmas!! I am extremely intimidated yet so excited to get some projects underway. I’ve never even touched a sewing machine in my LIFE, seriously. So I’ll probably be heading out to a book store this week to grab some sewing books. Before I go, any recommendations?

I decided to brave it and we went over to Mom’s house tonight to make Christmas cookies. I am so exhausted. My back is super hurting right now but I am going to take it as easy as possible for the rest of the night. We’re probably going to watch a movie and just hang out tonight.  I can’t believe Christmas Eve is tomorrow! I’m just wondering where exactly December went??

I’ll post some pictures on my Flickr of the Christmas cookies sometime soon. I may just wait until we open gifts tomorrow evening and then post our Christmas pictures all at once.  Tonight I really had my Grandma on the mind. Was really thinking of her at home with my Grandpa, alone. I feel for both of them and my heart aches for them. I hope she is feeling okay. She always tells me to pray for her. And even though I am not religious and I have lots of “questions” in my head as far as organized religion goes, I still try to make it a point to say a silent “prayer” in my head every night. I may not know who I’m talking to every night or if anyone can actually “hear” it or not, but she wants me to pray and I’ll do anything she wants. She deserves that much.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Holiday. No matter how you celebrate it, I hope it is filled with loved ones nearby and lots of laughter and smiles and love.

We go all out on Christmas cookies every year. Ever since I was a baker and cake decorator at Target 5 years ago, I love to go all out when decorating Christmas cookies. This year we have these colors for icing: Pink, Red, Green, White, Light Blue, Black, Brown, Yellow and Purple. And about 3 kajillion different decorating tips and sprinkles.

I’m going to attempt to go over to my parent’s house tonight and make Christmas Cookies. I wont be doing the majority of the dough-rolling or baking this year but I’ll try as much as I can. I refuse to let this stupid back of mine get me down. I got out of bed around noon today and after I got out of the shower, I had a huge nausea / sweat induced moment. I was not feeling well at all and had to lay down in bed with some crackers. I got up after it subsided and ate a little bit of lunch then went to bed for another 3-4 hours.

I’m up now. I’m ready to go. My back does hurt. Pretty bad. But I’m going to go anyway. I want to have fun, I want to be with my family. I want to make Christmas cookies! It’s a tradition!

And girls.. I am so sorry I haven’t replied to your comments below. I WANT to but I’m trying to figure out why Wordpress decides NOT to e-mail me any comments. It only emails me comments that are awaiting approval, but not the ones that are already automatically approved. I even checked the settings and it is set to e-mail ALL comments that are posted. Piece of crap!

I’m thinking of doing an entire re-install of Wordpress. Which requires a LOT of patience and time. But I installed it on my “Flog” (which I haven’t been using, ugh) and there is a “tag” feature where you can put tags on each entry. My current installation doesn’t have that and I’m wondering if it is just out of date. We’ll see.. When I have more time after Christmas I will probably mess with it then.

The pups have been sniffing their presents under the tree.. I keep telling them they have to wait until Christmas to open their presents. But me, being the dork I am, secretly wants to give them to them now ;) I hope you all have a wonderful holiday filled with the people you love and lots of laughter.

Laying in bed, unable to move due to horrendous sciatica pain. Just watched 75% of Home Alone and now I am watching National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. Gene is in the kitchen making me a turkey burger with corn on the cob. Pups are at the foot of the bed sleeping. I say foot of the bed but Astro is actually in the MIDDLE of the bed, taking up 60% of it. Silly, big boy.

Even though I was a crying mess earlier, sobbing about why this is happening to me on my 4 day Christmas weekend. Why?! WHY!!! Ugh.  Anyway where was I? Oh yeah.. Even though I was a huge mess earlier I have still found the “spirit” and am feeling a little better emotionally. Physically, still a mess.
