Good Riddance, Back Pain

By Candy June 17th, 2007

And we’re back to Sunday. I hate Sundays. Laundry and tidying up the house. Boo on that boring stuff. Although it does feel good to have nice clean smelling laundry, sheets on the bed and a vacuumed house. Sundays are always the lazy days before you go back to work. There just isn’t any fun in a Sunday, in my opinion :D

I haven’t written about it but my back has been severely messed up. It started Monday. Monday was the day from hell at work! I was so miserable and I just wanted to go home and get in bed. Tuesday I threw in the towel and decided to go to the chiropractor. Wednesday I went to the chiropractor, feeling like black death. He sent me to a doctor where I got 3 prescriptions. One is an anti-inflammatory, one is a muscle relaxor and the other is a pain pill. So all in all, this week I probably only worked 14 hours – at most. I hate that :( I always get to use my PTO time for boring stuff like being sick and being in bed all day :(  I’m glad to say that my back is doing significantly better but I still can’t go to the store or places and walk a great amount otherwise I will be in horrible pain afterwards. I slept better last night than I have in the last 2 days so that was nice.

This morning Gene and I made waffles for breakfast. He is going to go rent a movie at Blockbuster in a little while and then we are heading downtown to the Asian market for some items we need and Vietnamese baguette sandwiches :) Yummy. I may even splurge on some sushi, too. I’ve been craving sushi big time and their sushi is pretty cheapcompared to stores here. I may also see if we can sneak into Target for a moment so I can look for invites.

I didn’t mention it but I am having a housewarming party. I’ve had everyone and their uncle ask me when my housewarming party is.. So I decided to go ahead and have one. So if anyone has any ideas or suggestions for snack items that are relatively easy to make, let me know! The only thing I know of for sure that I’m making is a cream cheese ball with ritz crackers. I need more suggestions!
