Fast Food Advertising: False

Have you ever seen a Subway commercial and you instantly crave one of their voluptuous sandwiches? You drive to Subway (or walk, if you’re a good girl) and get your sandwich and it looks absolutely nothing like the one on the tv? Well, you aren’t alone! Check out this website that shows picture comparisons of fast food advertised products to the actual thing. I think looking at these pictures will tame your appetite alone. The Big Mac on there looks horrendous

The link is courtesy of Hungry Girl. I don’t normally sign up for e-mail subscriptions but for some reason I was tempted to sign up for this a few months ago and I have not regretted it one second! Every day, Monday through Friday, I receive an e-mail newsletter that gives me some tips or recipes on eating low calorie, low fat foods. She always sends out e-mails about new healthy products that are coming to stores near you and I’ve even received e-coupons from her on these new products. This is one daily e-mail that I absolutely love :) So if you want to sign up, go do it and tell them I sent you. My e-mail is girlhaq at gmail dot com.

  1. I’m checking those out now… it’s enough to make me feel good about being a wee bit more healthy! ;)

Love the new blog design, too! Very cute.

  2. Food photography is certainly an art, and seeing what the food stylists have to work with is great evidence of that!
