Gene and I did the bank paperwork yesterday morning for the mortgage and we are officially buying a house! Our closing date is set for May 24th at 4:00 PM. I am really, really excited and nervous all at the same time. At least now all of our money will be going towards something we own and not just paying on someone else’s mortgage. I can’t wait to move because I am really excited about the house we are buying. It’s a nice sized house and I love the floor plan and the kitchen is AWESOME.

That’s about all for now. I just wanted to pop in and post that. I need to go pick things up a little around the house.

This one isn’t very perverted but I just wanted to show how random the spam industry has become. And I call it a Spam Industry because it is practically it’s own industry now. I love to read these aloud to Gene whenever I get them. I call it Spam Story Time. It’s quite hilarious if you read it outloud. It gives beter perspective of exactly how random they really are.

Meeting with a lady at the bank to get our mortgage loan process going. Downtown arts festival. Possibly meet up with Grandma (she may be in town this weekend). Dinner at Bennigans (we have a coupon! and like most women, if there is a coupon I HAVE TO USE IT).  More packing, perhaps??

I’m freakin’ in love :heart: I could go on and on and write about how great Gene is but it’s always the same ol’ thing ;) Yesterday was our 106th monthiversary. June 25th will be our 9th anniversary together. I find myself daydreaming about him a lot while I am at work or driving in the car. I love his smell. His face. His hands. Everything is so perfect about him through my eyes. It honestly feels so wonderful and empowering to feel this kind of love and adoration for someone.

I woke up in the absolutely most AWFUL mood ever today! I have no idea why. I was up until 3 AM last night and that may have had a little something to do with it. My joints feel achey and my head is pounding. I feel sick to my stomache and I feel generally annoyed with everything. I feel like there was something we needed to do today but for the life of me, I cannot remember :/

The homebuying proceoss is still well.. in process. We haven’t yet decided on a lender we want to go with. We just need to decide what we want to do and then we can move forward. We did get the contract from the seller so that is a done deal. Gene and I have some pretty humongous decisions to make and that is ALWAYS stressful. I hope I can elaborate a little more soon. I just don’t want to say anything too detailed until we’ve finally decided what we are going to do.

[EDITED at 9:44 PM] I am feeling SO much better! After I wrote this post this morning I went and laid in bed for a little while and then Gene massaged my neck and shoulders and I almost immediately felt better. We got dressed and went to Tarjay to do a little shopping! We now have two new sets of bedsheets and nothing makes me happier. Ours, for some odd reason (*ahem* dogs jumping on our bed!) always get little holes in them. My favorite sheets are the Jersey Knit ones that feel like really soft t-shirts. I saw some sheets that were 800 thread count on clearance for $30 for ONE fitted sheet. I opened the package to touch it just so that I could say that I’ve touched 800 thread count sheets and let me tell you, it was NOTHING special. I’ll keep my cheapo Jersey Knit ones :) What kind of sheets do you use?

The whole Virginia Tech thing is just ridiculous. The sadness is tremendous. I feel so awful for these people. The kids. Some of them just barely out of high school. But age doesn’t matter. They’re all innocent college students and professors. I can’t even really talk about it much because it just pisses me off. As usual the media is annoying me in every way possible with their constant bantering of these poor victims. I can’t stand to even watch it.

In other news, I have downloaded about 6 more WP themes and I can’t stand them, at all. I always end up back at this one. I need to just buck up and write my own theme. But that takes concentration and effort, two things I am lacking.
