I am so there :) Music has had a profound effect on my life. There are a lot of songs out there that I love because they have a great beat but a song with powerful lyrics will always mean so much more to me. If you want to hear some moving lyrics, listen to Latterman. Their music has helped me relax and enjoy life as it comes. Be happy and love each other. There is a lot of hate in this world, more than I can even believe sometimes. But I love the people who let me love them and forget the people who don’t. Friendships come and go constantly throughout our lives, but if you love someone and put all that you can into it, that is what really matters. Be true to yourself first and then you can be your best person to the people who really matter in your life. Love life and love each other. Our time on this planet is MUCH shorter than it seems.

    [...] Anyway, got a busy week this week. Yesterday Gene and I went down to Norman to visit the OU Campus and see Daphne Loves Derby live You know, the band I previously posted about? They were wonderful and I really, really enjoyed the show! I couldn’t stand up and bounce around as much as I would have liked due to my knee injury but I did enjoy the good music. Tomorrow night is Senses Fail in Tulsa (the band we are going to see is Set Your Goals). There is a lot of winter weather supposedly starting tomorrow so we will see if we get to go or not. Oh and Friday we are meeting with a lady at a country club about wedding type stuff. Busy, busy week. [...]
