Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all! We just came home from my parent’s house to let the dogs out and let them open their presents (new collars, a new tug o’ war toy) and take a break. My mom’s house is freezing! So I am here thawing out before we go back. Also, my Dad is not speaking to any of us since yesterday so the mood over there is kind of… glum. Pretty depressing and really really pisses me off but I am doing a pretty good at pushing it to the back of my mind today. Why?? One, because it is Christmas and I want it to be a good Christmas for my mom and sister and two, because even more important than Christmas (in my opinion) today is Gene and I’s 8 1/2 anniversary. I love him more and more every day !

That is all to really write about. Brooke, I got your scrapping stuff!! Thank you sooooo much. I loved it all and I can’t wait to sit down with some time and start creating stuff. I have these grand ideas to order prints of a lot of my photos and buy photo albums and get organized.. I would love to have stuff on actual hard copies than just on the computer. It is more than enough stuff to get me started… Scrapping stuff is sooo pricey! I hope you got my card!

I wish stores were open today so that I could go shopping. Heeeh. So selfish of me! I wish they could stay open without having any employees having to work on Christmas, how’s that?? Robots could work there. Yes. That would be awesome. Gene and I both got Hot Topic $20 gift cards, Gene has a couple Best Buy gift cards, Target and Barnes & Noble gift cards and I have a couple of things I need to exchange. All of which require shopping… and everyone knows how much I love to go shopping!

Well, we need to head back to my parent’s house. Tonight we’re having Fried Shrimp, Crabcakes, baked potatoes, caesar salad and cheesy garlic biscuits for dinner. All my idea…. I am getting hungry just thinking about it!
