Movie Review: Click

First I will start off with a movie review of Click. It wasn’t as good as I had expected it to be but it wasn’t exactly awful either. The message the moving was conveying was great and the overall theme was awesome. But like any life changing experience, the way it is drawn out is really, really sad. When I left the theatre, I was actually temporarily in an extremely bad mood. I felt really depressed and didn’t feel like talking to anyone or dealing with anything. I actually felt better after I told Gene about how I felt about it. I hate movies that leave me feeling like that! Maybe I just take them too seriously?? Probably why I can’t watch scary films.

Moving on.. today the gang (Gene, Layla and I) went shopping. Went to a lot of places. Shoe Carnival, Old Navy, Ross, Walmart, the mall (an additional 3 trillion stores). Had a good time. I got 3 Nacho Libre t-shirts from Hot Topic for around $5 each. The total was $16 and some change after tax. Is that awesome or what?? That brings my running total to 4 Nacho Libre t-shirts! And I still need to get around to pre-ordering the DVD online. Amazon shows the release date as October 29th. That is just too far away :(

Tomorrow I get my first allergy shot! I am nervous and excited all at once. I’m nervous because I hope I don’t have an anaphylactic reaction. Which really is the only thing that makes me nervous about it. I’m not crazy about needles but I am not one to freak out over them. I am excited because I am looking a year down the line and see myself feeling a LOT better as far as allergies and asthma go. Two things that have definitely held me back in my life so far.

Anyway, I gotta go! Family Guy is coming on in 15 minutes (Yes, I freakin’ love Family Guy, shutup). It’s the one thing I try to watch every weekday night.

  1. WOW… I’m surprised to hear that you had a hate/love relationship with Click. :P My husband took my daughter to see it this past weekend and they WOULDN’T stop talking about it. We (all of us that were left behind) were soooooo jealous! I think I’ll go see it this weekend JUST because it’s at the $2.00 theater here already.

Thanks for the review! Once I see it I’ll let ya know what I think.

    i love family guy too.

and i think i’m gonna start health-blogging again. do you still have one? i wish we lived closer and could be around to support each other and stuff. you’re a better influence than anyone else i know!

  3. I know what you mean about “Click.” It was really depressing near the end. And I think it moved me a little more than it would have, just because seeing Adam Sandler in such a serious role in some parts was heart-wrenching. I did like it, though.

Good luck with the allergy shot! You’ll have to let me know how it goes. I’ve been wondering about getting them myself. Although I’m fairly terrified of needles… lol.

And I didn’t know you got a new home!! I was surprised to see your comment on my site. Haha. Glad to have found you again.
