Not a whole lot to say. I had a horrendous tummy ache all day today and it has carried on into the evening now. I thought it was better and I ate a light dinner of chicken noodle soup and somehow I am in bad pain again. I have no idea what could have caused this but I would really like it to just go away now. Definitely overstayed its welcome.

I am going to start logging my food intake again. I’m trying to decide if I want to take up room on this blog with it or create a second blog to keep track of it. Finding time to do this is my biggest concern, but you know how that goes :o Tomorrow is the neighbor’s little boy’s last t-ball game of the season so we will be going to that around 7:40 PM. I like the later ones so that we have time to come home and eat before we go. Also plan to walk the trails at the park before the game starts.

Dabbled a bit in Japanese culture this weekend:

• Ate at Japanese restaurant: Fuji Japanese Restaurant.
• Watched Japanese movie: Nobody Knows.
• Watched anime: Da Capo S.S.

Candace already talked about our experience at Fuji in pretty good detail.

Nobody Knows is a Japanese independent film. The story sounded really interesting – about four kids who were pretty much abandoned by their parents, living in an apartment by themselves. But, like lots of independent movies, it doesn’t try to make it easy on the watcher. Like what the hell is going on at times, or a conclusive ending. I think we were all pretty disappointed.

Layla & I watched Da Capo S.S. (second season) up to episode 9. So far it reminds me of a soap opera. Maybe it will get better.

Overall, it did turn out to be a good weekend with good people and good times.

I don’t think I mentioned it but I bought 3 bridal magazines from B&N yesterday evening and I am totally looking forward to chillin’ and flipping through them. I need to take a shower and get into my pajamas here soon. I plan on calling it an early night. But then again, I always plan on that and it never happens. Hmph.

Today I got some stuff:

- 2 new rugs for my kitchen floor. They’re kitchen-ey rugs. Got tomatos on them!
- 3 new rugs for misc. usage. They were really cheap at Home Depot. $1.99! I put one by the back patio door where the dogs go in/out a lot.
- 12 wash cloths ($1.99 for 12 at Target, sweeet). You can never have too many wash cloths!

I am ready to seriously get comfortable and veg out. I got some notebooks today from Target and I got some new mechanical pencils from Layla that she didn’t want.. So I think I’m going to sit down and read through my magazines and take notes. I also got some Special K waffles (60 cals per waffle!) and light whip cream. Tonight for dessert: waffles with strawberries, bananas and whip cream. Yummity yum :)

I don’t think I’ve mentioned lately how much I love Gene ;) Or maybe I have? But I’ll just say it again for the record, I love the boy!! He makes me so happy. I’ve never had a better friend in my entire life. No one as loyal as him. Ever. No one that I could fully count on 100% of the time. No one as supportive. He is the best. And I guess it helps that I just love him to pieces and find him extremely attractive every second of every day :heart:

Yesterday we went to the mall and to Sam’s Wholesale Club. I got some toilet paper, zip loc bags and bottled water at Sam’s. Three things that we needed very badly! Can’t live without my bottled water :) Especially this summer because we are all burning to death.

I wanted to get these AWESOMELY cute Vans tennis shoes that have pink hippos on them. Well, they didn’t fit. Apparently you have to have SUPER SKINNY feet to fit them. My feet were just too wide. Hmph :( I did get a Family Guy notebook on clearance at Hot Topic. And we went to get our manicures/pedicures and it was AWESOME. Mysterious Red M and I decided we will be going once a month for now on. We totally deserve it and it was a nice, relaxing couple of hours.

We went to eat at Kona Ranch and it was awesome like usual. I got tons of leftovers and they will totally be my lunch on Monday. Right now Gene is cooking lunch. We’re having Cheeseburger Mac. Not the Hamburger Helper kind. There is a recipe where you make the Velveeta Shells & Cheese, add hamburger and ketchup and WABAM! It’s Cheeseburger Mac! Tastes similar to the Hamburger Helper one but better, much better. :)

Today? I am not sure what is in store. I know we will be running to the store at some point because I don’t have enough milk to get us through the week since we both eat cereal every morning. Other than that, I am kind of hoping for a somewhat calm day. We’ve spent more than enough money this weekend (on eating out, unfortunately) and I need to stay as far away from the stores as I can. Especially with my new clothing obsession! Hah.

We *may* take the dogs to Petsmart. Since Astro has started eating SO much lately I think I am going to start mixing in another brand of dry dog food with his. We buy him a premium food so it is much more expensive. I was thinking if we mix in a couple cups of a premium food from Petsmart (which aren’t as healthy as they want you to believe, by the way) it will be OK. Right now Astro is eating 10 cups per day… and he eats every last bite like he needs more or something. Crazy!

It’s late. About past my bedtime, that’s for sure. Just thought I would update because I did change my layout again. Crazy, I know. Slowly but surely figuring this Wordpress junk out. I seem to be having a lot better luck this time around than I did last time. I guess my biggest feat will be overcoming my fear of PHP and advanced CSS. I’ve been so in the dark as far as web design and html and css goes lately, that I feel like I am on foreign territory whenever I try to dick around with it.

Tonight Gene, Layla and I went to Fuji. It’s a Japanese restaurant in town. Well, it was good. They were having their 4th anniversary night with Sake testing. So Gene and I decided to pay the $13 to try Sake. Naaasty!! We couldn’t stand it. So I told her we didn’t want anymore (We were on 4 of our 17 Sakes to try) but we found out they were still going to charge us full price so we ended up just getting the Sakes and trying them. Well, then I tried to use my coupon for our meals and they refused the coupon, stating that it was considered a holiday because it was their 4th anniversary night. BULL CRAP! That is what I call a bunch of money hungry buttholes!

Needless to say, I am not going back there. The thing is, my dad paid money for these coupon books that have coupons to various restaurants in the city. He got them from a fundraiser from a guy at his work. He paid money for them. Duh. So they should accept the coupons that they obviously volunteered to put into this book that people are paying money for. Let’s just say, we spent a better part of $100 at their restaurant tonight and I am totally displeased with their service and the situation.

So afterwards we went to Freddy’s Frozen Custard. I ordered a sundae, as did Gene. I also ordered fries…. The total was around $7. That seemed normal. We got the ice cream and it was a MINI not a regular size that we ordered. So Gene went to tell them and they ended up letting us keep the mini’s AND gave us 2 LARGE sized ones of the same thing!! Not to mention, the $1.50 I paid for the fries was totally worth it. I got a HUGE basket of fries!

So I just want to thank Freddy’s Frozen Custard and all of the teenagers working there that don’t care about giving people extra food because without them, I could have gone home in a bad mood from my experience at Fuji.

Anyway, time to go get something to drink and hit the sack. I’m sleepy. Tomorrow is a day of going to the mall, going to grab a few things from Sam’s, and then pedicures and manicures with the girls :)

I am sooo thankful that I am finally done with this layout. I switched back to Wordpress and I plan to use this more often. I also want to eventually give Gene a login and possibly have him guestblog here ‘n there :) I changed my domain because the pinkydink stuff was definitely getting OLD!

So I am doing fine tonight. I came home and did NOTHING. Well, I did stuff but I didn’t have plans to go anywhere and I was SO happy. I hung/folded laundry, I did a load of laundry, I made dinner, I emptied the trashes, finally unpacked the rest of my stuff from our vacation and generally cleaned up the house a bit. I feel sooo much better now!

Anyway, because I’ve been busy I’ve neglected the dogs and now I need to go play with them before bed. Of course my goal was to get into bed early tonight but I was too busy playing with my domain :| Geesh. Such a kid sometimes.

Gene and I went grocery shopping tonight. Spent a lot of money on not a WHOLE lot. We did get a ton of fruits. I love fruit! And I’m trying my hardest to eat more and more. My problem is that french fries and popcorn always tempt me ;) Luckily, I found a light movie-theatre butter popcorn that only has about 200-250 calories for the WHOLE bag (a big bag, people!) and it RAWKS. It’s Orville Reddenbacher (sp?) brand and it is actually pretty buttery and good for a light popcorn.

I’ve got my new domain name registered and a new layout in the works.. am just waiting for my host to get back with me to tell me what it is I need to do to transfer everything over and get it set up. I may even set up the new layout on here to get one step ahead. We’ll see. I’m very busy lately. Hell, it is 11:15 PM right now and I haven’t even took my shower yet. So much for going to bed early tonight :|

I am really going to try to start using this domain for my main blog and journaling for now on. Just need to get past the fear of real life friends & family seeing it. I don’t write about horribly personal stuff usually so I guess it is not that big of a deal. Well, peace out for now. I’ll post later!
