I updated the layout. It is basic but that is the best I could do for now. I don’t think I’ll ever get time to actually sit down and enjoy my *new* computer. I haven’t even been able to do much on it since I got it. Things just keep happening and life just continues to be busy. A break would greatly be appreciated!

Still waiting on word from Layla’s doctor as to whether or not she can go on our trip with us. She has lost most function of her left inner ear due to this virus she had and the doctor is supposed to give us a yes/no answer by Tuesday as to whether or not she can fly. I’m really hoping he says yes because if he says she can’t go with us I am going to be devastated. Bleh. Don’t wanna talk about that right now.. it is a touchy subject.

Moving on.. last Sunday I stepped in a hole on our evening walk and sprained my ankle pretty badly. I was out of work on Monday and I worked short days on Tues/Wed. I am still extremely sore and can’t walk as much as I used to. I am just hoping it heals up really well before our trip. I have sprained my ankle a lot in my life and I have never, ever been in pain this long with an ankle injury. The doc x-rayed it and said it looked ok. She did mention an MRI to check for hairline fractures but I am too cheap to do that ;) If it continues for weeks I may have to do it.. but we’ll see. I just think I pulled some muscles in my foot.

That is all. I gota go. Gonna spend time with my baby and enjoy my Saturday night. We’ve almost got our trip fully planned and I am totally excited. I’ll be able to enjoy it more when, hopefully, Layla’s doctor says she can go. My nerves are shot!
