Astro likes the snow. Why is this a bad thing, you ask? BECAUSE! All he wants to do is go outside. And I don’t know if I’ve ever mentioned this on my blog or not but our backyard has no grass. The people before us didn’t take care of the lawn and there are 2 giant trees in the backyard. So from the shade and lack of water, the grass has disappeared and it is now just a desert out there. So when it rains or snows, it turns into MUD. So now I have a large puppy who likes to run through the snow and get as dirty as he possible can. And then tries to come in the house like that!!! :mad: I can’t believe it. I just knew he’d hate it! Darnit.
So the snow is melting. I’m trying to get things done around this house today. I’d rather get all of my housework done today so I can have Saturday and Sunday to relax and have fun. So far I’m on my third load of laundry and I have about 3 more to go (big blankets that I have to wash one at a time!). I’ve vaccumed the entire house, Gene did dishes. I filed away as much paperwork as I could (took an hour!). I still want to clean the bathrooms and clean my computer desk off. As well as try to find a place for the crap that is just laying around the floor in our computer room. I have great aspirations :) Just getting it all done… that’s the hard part! Man if I had a maid that I could tell her what to do, I would live a spotless life. Because it’s not that I don’t know what needs to be cleaned.. It’s just that there is so much to do… I never know where to start!
At 4 I am going with my mom to get her hair did :D We’re going to the salon in Walmart. I always get my hair done there now. The girl did an excellent job last time I went in. Can’t beat a great haircut for $12.50! And Sunday I have a bridal shower to attend, so I still need to go get the gift for that. I hate shopping this time of year.. it’s a nightmare out there! Especially on the weekends. May run to Target this evening to get the gift so I don’t have to go out tomorrow.

My dogs HAYE the snow … they do their business and scratch at the door to come in…. annoying….lol

I meant HATE….lol but I’m sure you knew that! We don’t have a hair salon at Walmart here in Canada :( bummer! 12.50$ sounds great :)

Oh no!! I dont know what it is about the idea of getting dirty that dogs just love so much. Mine are the same way with mud and dirt.
Sounds like you have an insanely busy weekend – but a fun one. :-) I think I’m done with bridal showers now for a while. (Thank goodness – I had a bunch this year)
A 12.50 haircut that looks great – UNBEATABLE!

It’s really cute that Astro love the snow so much! It’s not so cute that he gets so dirty! Maybe you could get sod in the spring for them. Good luck in cleaning your computer room, I have to do the same tomorrow! Have fun getting your hair done with your Mom!
