Do you like my little santas? Hah. That’s what I call putting the good ‘ol paintbrush to work! I don’t know how all of your bloggers out there get those really cute illustration drawings on your logos! I’m jealous. I tried searching online but never found anything. I could whip out Illustrator and pretend to be artistic but it would only result in horrible, horrible things :D

Today I stopped at my absolutely wonderful mother’s house and got some leftovers to bring home for Gene and I. We’re both pretty broke until payday and besides, we both love my mom’s home cookin’ :) Nothing is better! So it was super yummy. I cleaned our dishes, made my lunch for tomorrow and took a shower. Now I can relax for a little while longer and then get into bed on time. Because last night I didn’t get to bed until well after midnight and I was so tired this morning!

Got a whole lot of grocery shopping to do after payday. We need things from Target, Crest, Walmart and Sams. Going to be a busy day when we go do our shopping! Also going to try to finish up my Christmas shopping as much as possible. Thursday will be a busy day because Gene has 2 dentist appointments and I have 1 dentist appointment. I hate the dentist, so Thursday may possibly be the worst day in the world for me. Gene has fillings in the morning, then a consultation with the oral surgeon at 1, then I have a filling at 3. Makes my stomache queazy just thinking about it!

Anyway, changed the layout around a bit and I am done with the computer for now. Gotta get all comfy in bed and munch on some chocolate chip cookies that my mom sent home with me. Ahh, I love her so much :love:

P.S. I’m sorry about the slow-loadingness of the website but I’ve added as many google advertisements as I possibly can in order to try to get some money from Google’s awesome AdSense program! Yeah ads really suck and I am totally against them but when it is something to benefit me, I tend to make acceptions :)

Well, I don’t have much to report on as of right now. I’m trying to get things done around the house but I keep getting side tracked. It often ends up this way when I try to clean and I just don’t know why! But I will say that living in Oklahoma does have its amusements. Take for instance, today in Oklahoma we have both Winter Weather Advisories and Tornado Watches. See exhibit A:

Well, how the heck are my blogging friends out there? You’ll be surprised to know that I have been keeping up with your blogs, I just haven’t been commenting (I know, I’m a bad girl). Things have been busy around here ever since we purchased The Game Cube (AKA The Dream Machine). It has seriously kept us busy! And if Gene doesn’t stop exercising on it he will continue to lose weight and I will slowly watch him melt away into asian nothingness :) Boy needs to eat some food! :love:

We did however, take a couple of steps to remedy the Farting Epidemic that is currently taking place in our household. I don’t know if I mentioned it or not but the dogs have been rather gassy for the last month or so and it has finally gotten so stinky around here that we had to take steps to change it. I hate to change their food because they’ve been eating it pretty well but we decided to dive into more wholesome dog foods and even spend a little more money for their sake. So, we are currently trying Chicken Soup For The Dog Lover’s Soul. It’s a hollistic wholesome food made with good ingredients and none of the fillers found in most commercial dog foods. We are also adding a tablespoon of yogurt to their meals because that is supposed to help with the gas. If this dog food doesn’t work out we will spend a little more money and go with Eagle Pack brand hollistic dog food, which is human grade dog food. Just a tad better than the Chicken Soup brand :) Can you believe how much thought and work we put into our dogs food? Talk about spoiled brats!

That is all for now. I think I’m going to either sucker Gene into playing some games with me on yahoo or get tucked into bed and read some of my book. I’m reading Save Karyn currently and I am really impressed with it so far! It has definitely kept my attention. It’s about a girl who is basically a shop-a-holic and goes deeply into debt and apparently comes back out of it. We’ll see! I’ll let you guys know…

Gene and I decided we would get each other one Christmas gift to the both of us from the both of us. And for our gift, we decided on the Nintendo Game Cube. And boy has it been loads of fun in the last 48 hours that we’ve had it :) I can’t seem to get anything done around the house and it only looks grim from here on out :) The GC itself came with Mario Party 7 and then we also got Karaoke Revolution (Dance Dance Revolution with Karaoke mixed in) and Dance Dance Revolution Mario Mix with the DDR gamepad. Fun fun!!!

Anyway I guess that is all I have to report on for now. I’m about 95% done with my Christmas shopping. Everyone has been bought for except 2 people and I pretty much know what I am going to get them, I just need to go out and get it! I plan on putting our Christmas decorations up sometime this week since I am off work. Blah blah blah :) Hope you all are having a great week!

Thought I would write an entry up before I head off into dreamland. Today has been quite an interesting day. And I’d like to go on and on about what transpired today but I think I’ll refrain from doing that and instead just list things that happened today. I’m better at lists sometimes anyway ;)

♥ Morning errands with my mommy: Gas, bank, Target
♥ Lunch with mommy & geniebear: Burger King
♥ Afternoon nap. Had to rest my overly sleepy eyes.
♥ Chili dog / Frito chili pie supper on a cold evening :)
♥ Spending quality time with my sister. Pampered our feet and had facial masks. Sipped Sparkling White Grape juice in champaigne glasses. Laughed uncontrollably! Love her to death :)
♥ Took the dogs to the Dog Wash. Astro was scared to death the whole time, especially when I turned the dryer on. Emma stood there looking so innocent and heartbroken.
♥ Watching TV with my sister and sipping on some peppermint mocha coffee.
♥ Taco bell at 1 AM :)

That’s pretty much everything that happened today. And now I will go wash my hair over the bathtub because I’m too lazy to take a full shower and then I’ll get myself tucked into bed. I’m sleepy and it’s cold outside!

The doggies sure are being lazy this evening. They were all excited and nutso when I first got home from work (I love that! No matter what kind of day you had or they had, they are always excited to see you when you come home) and they calmed down rather quickly. And they’ve really been just laying around all evening. I caught Astro sleeping on our bed a few times :) Silly kids!
