Good morning there :) I’m about to go eat some Frankberry cereal and then start on my big day of cleaning! Yuck :| I think my plan is going to be to start with the kitchen (which I already half-did the other night so that helps) and move towards the back of the house. This way I can focus on each room separately and get them done fully instead of hopping from here to here. Just going from room to room without completely finishing them is my biggest flaw! I do it every single time :D

Well, I should probably cut this short. Astro is being whiney and I think he is hungry. Saturday is The Race for the Cure. I’m apparently going to walk 3 miles during this thing. Ha. We’ll see about that ;)

The dogs are going to have an early bedtime tonight. They are being pretty good, both of them are just laying on the floor in here chewing on bones. But my allergies are acting up majorly and tomorrow is Monday.. and Mondays stink! So I must get tons of sleep to prepare for the hell that will most likely commence tomorrow! I hate to be a bum about it but I’m not really looking forward to heading back to work. Sometimes the days off don’t seem like enough even though they are more than I feel like I deserve… I could go on forever on this one.

Just having a not-so-great evening so I think I’m going to cut this one short. Like I said, I need to get the dogs in bed and get in bed. Gotta do a couple word finds before I fall asleep :) One of my newest nightly rituals! I love them.

Gene and I decided to take the dogs to PetsMart (or more like I decided to take them, so he tagged along) for a little Saturday afternoon shopping and stroll. Well, I totally forgot how misbehaved my dogs are out in public around other people and dogs! They were jumping and barking and running and pulling on the leash and right now Gene and I are still trying to get the feeling back into our fingers. Bad idea!

Gene is laying in bed right now trying to take a nap. Astro is sleeping below my chair and Emma is somewhere in the house sleeping as well. I feel like I’m among lazy people who are trying to make it absolutely impossible for me to find motivation to clean this house! Who wants to clean a house when everyone in it is laying around being lazy! Not I :|

I guess my biggest problem is this computer. I can’t separate myself from it. And when I do, I don’t feel like doing anything but staring out into space while sitting on the sofa. Yeah, yeah. And speaking of sofa, Astro has poked many holes in the darn thing and there are a few scratches on it as well. I’m seeing sofa covers in the near future! If they weren’t about $60 a piece, I’d already have them on the darn things. I’m getting sick of the “Leather” (Bachelor-esque) look anyway. Wanting something more soft and homely. Just like I can’t stand our bachelor-esque entertainment center anymore either. I can definitely tell I am growing up!

I should stop rambling now. I’m really going to work on this house. I guess the main thing will be getting things picked up and then working on the smaller things (clutter). If I get all of our paperwork from the last 4 months filed away, it will make a huge difference. Wish me luck… I’m going to need it.
